Accessibility

Last updated: 8 June 2026

I want this website to be as clear, usable, and accessible as reasonably possible.

Therapy with Rick is a private online therapy practice. This page explains what accessibility features are in place, where there may still be limitations, and how to ask for information in another format.

Website accessibility

This website has been designed so visitors should be able to:

  • Adjust colours, contrast, and fonts through browser or device settings

  • Zoom in up to 400% without the main text becoming unreadable

  • Navigate most of the site using a keyboard

  • Use speech recognition software where supported by the browser or device

  • Use screen readers such as JAWS, NVDA, or VoiceOver

  • Read content written in plain English wherever possible

  • Access key information about therapy, fees, privacy, terms, and contact details

I aim to keep the website calm, readable, and easy to navigate.

Known limitations

Some parts of the website or related materials may not be fully accessible.

Known limitations include:

  • Some older PDF documents may not work perfectly with screen readers;

  • Line height and spacing may not be fully adjustable through the website itself;

  • Embedded third-party tools may not offer the same level of accessibility as the rest of the site;

  • Live video captions are not usually available, as I do not usually run live broadcasts or webinars.

I review the website periodically and aim to improve accessibility where possible.

Online therapy accessibility

Therapy with Rick is provided online.

If you need reasonable adjustments for online therapy, please let me know. This may include practical adjustments around communication, pacing, written information, session access, or how information is shared before or after sessions.
